Vango Chinook 200 2 Man Tent is a new model for 2001 in the mountain tent range.
A free-standing semi-geodesic tent it’s been designed to remain compact while giving excellent headroom and space inside. The tent doesn’t feature Vango’s TBS (Tension Band System) to secure the tent as the shape of the tent provides strength to keep everything secure even in high winds
The fly sheet features rear and front door with space in the porch and the sides for gear. The tent can be pitched with or without the fly-sheet depending on your conditions.
The fly-sheet is made from Protex SPU 5000 ripstop nylon and the sewn in groundsheet is made out of HD Nylon 600. Once again the Vango tent gets the seal of approval from the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme.
The two man version of the tent weighs in at 3700g which isn’t super light but is manageable, the tent comes with a stuff sack to reduce the size as expected. The current RRP for the Vango Chinook 200 2 Man Tent is £240
