Another product from the Autumn / Winter range is the Berghaus Mens Scafell Shell Jacket. Named after Scafell Pike the highest peak in England we had a red / darker red panels version of the jacket to review. Using the AQ2 fabric technology the jacket is waterproof and windproof. The zips are also waterproof two so any gadgets or documents will be safe.
There’s a large pocket on the left chest, two pockets at arms length and one inside pocket. Air pit zips allow for a greater airflow under the arms, to keep things … well less sweaty. Toggles at the bottom allow you to tighten the jacket around your waste. Up top there’s a hood that’s packed away under a velcro compartment.
The hood features a peak on to keep it flapping in your face and you can also pull toggles either side to tighten around your head. The zip on the front goes right up past your chin, so with the zip up and hood on it’s a snug fit keeping any rain and wind out.
If you were out walking in decent conditions you would want to wear a t-shirt underneath, colder conditions you’ll need a fleece with a t-shirt. Overall the Berghaus Mens Scafell Shell Jacket is another great product!
