Bright green, that was my first impression of the Berghaus Men’s Active Fit Short Sleeve Tee. Half way between a base layer and a t-shirt, I’ve been able to get out and about a few times in the t shirts. I’ve used it cycling on my commute to work – really light, no rubbing and, most importantly, it let my arm pits and back stay cool.
I also had the chance for a quick jog and again no problems with the quality or performance.
If you commute or jog every day then it’s important to be able to wash your kit every day. The t -shirt is dry after a wash and spin dry. If you’re washing it in the sink or outdoors, a good squeeze and it should be dry in a couple of hours if hung up.
As for technology in the garment, there’s protection from the sun with UPF>50 protection, silver ion technology for permanent odour reduction. The active fit design of the t-shirt gives it a slim fitting but loose-ish drape.
There’s five colours to choose from: Blaze Red / Thunder, Black / Black, Tendershoot Green / Offwidth Blue, Big Blue / Eclipse, Offwidth Blue / Tendershoot Green. For me the Blaze Red / Thunder is the pick of the bunch.
