The Berghaus Cuillin 4 man tent is a great family tunnel tent with an abundance of space for the kids to roam around in or to store extra camping gear. It has 2 bedrooms which both sleep 2 people.
The tent comes in a wheeled bag which can come particularly handy when you’re carrying heavy loads, particularly in the context of a festival. Instead of carrying it, you can drag it if it is too heavy (it weighs 18.35 kg). The bag also has a padded handle, making it more comfortable to carry and, more importantly, reducing the risk of blisters on your hand if you are carrying it over a long distance – again, a very good feature for festival goers. Overall, a very thoughtful design for the bag.
So that’s the packaging, now for the tent. As with many other tents, the Berghaus Cuillin 4 man tent has a PU-coated polyester flysheet and groundsheet, and fully taped seams. Vents in the bedrooms are able to provide much needed ventilation on those hot summer nights, and can also be covered to prevent rain coming in. With a 4000mm strong hydrostatic head and a sturdy frame, it looks confident in all elements.
The Berghaus Cuillin 4 man tent also comes with an additional repair kit, giving you peace of mind during those unexpected emergencies.
Overall, Berghaus Cuillin 4 man tent appears to be a pretty durable tent – a tent definately worth investing if you go on regular family camping trips. I’m sure it could also last a few festivals too. A definate thumbs up from Outdoor Enthusiasts.
