Needs 2 to pitch but once up this is really a super tent. Spent a week in it recently and really felt at home. Very bright and roomy. There was a fight between my daughter and her dad for the jungle room. Dad won and said "it were great". I would have liked them to include a couple of porch poles in the set-up but overall it is a comfy, fun tent.

I was wondering why it costs £39.99 for a groundsheet for this seeing as it is only a rectangular shape. I'm going to use a standard tarpaulin and cut it to size and with the money I save I'm going to treat myself to the carpet for £48 on ebay!

Just a few observations;

- I recently took this tent camping, where it was in a field for a whole week, being buffeted by very strong winds. A number of the other tents in the field failed, but this stood up to the wind no problems. In fact I never had to adjust anything due to the weather. Once inside the tent it was noticeable how quite it was, with very little tent material flapping.

- One night, other fellow campers were in trouble and I managed to sleep 12 people in the tent & gear.

- Min assembly requirement are two people, to get the middle dome up, but once that is up the rest can be done by a single person. ~ 30 min assembly time.

I really recommend this tent, and think that it is really good value for money.

just spent the long weekend with 1 wife,2 kids and a baby rained on the second nite(heavily) and the tent held up well with plenty of room for all our gear
down side- condensation quite bad and the time it takes to put up. from start to finish took around 2 hours in the wind though but all in all a good family tent but at the £500 mark.EXPENSIVE
