New site goes live

After a slight hiatus Outdoor Enthusiasts is back. The site has been updated to a new mobile friendly theme with a slight restructure. Old product previews and blog posts have been migrated over, updates will be made to the old product reviews while adding new product reviews.

This process will be an evolution so there are still a number of changes yet to go live and slight design improvements – the main one being mobile friendly being complete.

Beat the VAT Increase

There’s only till the end of the day to beat the VAT increase. As of midnight tonight VAT increases by 2.5% to 20%, you have till the end of the day to buy at the current rate of 17.5% which can be a fair chunk of money when buying expensive items.

If your out at the shops you’ll only have a few more hours to grab a bargin, but online you’ll have all the way until midnight tonight to pay at the lower rater.

Currently Blacks, Millets, Webtogs, Go Outdoors all have great sales on with some amazing savings. So have a look around our site at the products we have reviewed and you might find a great deal just in time.

Hola, we’ve been away on holiday in Mexico recently hence the lack of blog posts or product reviews. We had a great time near to Playa del Carmen which is south of Cancun. While on the week’s beach holiday we managed a day out to one of the wonders of the world Chichen Itza.

As well as being a great day out it was a great chance to test out some gear including the Berghaus Men’s Cuesta II Multi-Activity Shoes and the Berghaus Freeflow Pro 30 Rucksack all performed really well!
