After the last few weeks of ash cloud plane trouble many people around the UK are looking to get away for the Bank Holiday weekend. Many will be dusting down the tent, sleeping bags and stove for a camping trip but will this weekend be worth it?
As ever it depends on the weather. At the moment in the Lakes it’s looking like a wet start to the end of this week with things brightening up on Sunday and Monday.
In the Peak District it looks like the rain will continue til Sunday which means only Monday looks good, over the way in the Yorkshire Dales it the same outlook, with only Monday being decent. Over in Wales the outlook is pretty much the same. What about down South?, Cornwall and Devon is set for rain till Sunday with sun on the Monday.
So it doesn’t look like the greatest Bank Holiday weather but at least Monday will be nice so plan a day trip on the Monday!
