Major Phil Packer and TV presentor Kate Silverton have completed the three peaks challenge in 72 hours to raise money for Sports Relief
It was a major achievement for Mr Packer who injured his spin while on tour in Iraq. He since has walked the London Marathon, rowed the channel and climbed El Capitain.
The pair started on Friday morning at Ben Nevis but were cut short 100m from the top due to a snow storm.
A drive down to Scarfell Pick in the Lakes was the second task, they reached the top on Saturday evening.
On Monday at 1:50 pm the pair reached the top of snowden to complete the challenge. The pair were joinded by Sir Steve Redgrave and Sir Clive Woodward fir the final peak.
Mr Packer said: ”We are absolutely delighted; it has been a super adventure. We knew each other well before we started and with the team around us, and a challenge that was completed in the spirit of Sport Relief, we have finished this journey as great friends.”
